The Moderns

What is Middle Class Modern?

It's a blog (obviously!) about a socially middle class couple, where the wife loves Mid-Century Modern...but the budget isn't there. Oh, it SO isn't there. What do we blog about? Cheap DIY, embroidery, anything Mid-Century, houses, dogs, life, cooking, cats, urban exploration...anything that we've done/read about/crossed my mind, really!

  2. Oh my...I am so, so, so sorry about the loss of your baby girl. I just came to your blog from a comment you left on mine-I love your mid-century style. But most of all I just want to praise you for keeping your daughter's memory alive on your blog-it takes a certain bravery to put that out there and I think it helps so many who might be silently suffering similar situations.

    Take care,

    Melissa

  3. Your daughter is beautiful. I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a friend today who bravely posted on her blog about the loss of her brother and how she didn't want to forget to talk about him and always remember him. I agree with Melissa - keeping your daughter's memory alive on your blog is beautiful and wonderful and it does take a certain bravery to put that out there. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and remember the beautiful moments you had with your baby girl. Much peace and love, Rachel.
